SATURN HAS NOW MORE MOONS THAN ANY OTHER PLANET IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM || DIGITAL LIFE

Saturn has now overtake Jupiter in the race of most moons and most natural satellites orbiting around them. Before that Jupiter had 79 moons and no moons were discovered after 79 moons. Saturn had 62 moons orbiting around it. Now 20 more new moons were discovered orbiting around Saturn in prograde orbit and retrograde orbit. Prograde orbit means that satellites or moons revolving in the same direction that it rotates. Retrograde orbit means that satellites or moons revolving in the opposite direction that it rotates.

Only three moons are orbiting around Saturn in prograde orbit and seventeen moons are orbiting around Saturn in retrograde orbit. These moons were discovered using the Subaru Telescope on Maunakea, Hawaii, USA. This huge discovery was announced on 7th October 2019. The newly discovered moons are not soo huge and rotating closely around Saturn. As we know that the Saturn has a big ring around it in which big rocks and other type of material is rotating. This is also the comman argument of not discovering moons with other 62 moons of Saturn.

Now in these 82 moons Titan is the biggest moon of Saturn and also the second biggest moon of our Solar System. It is bigger than planet  Mercury. The biggest moon in our solar system is Ganymede which is also the biggest moon of Jupiter. It is just a little bit large than Titan.

Scientists believes that Titan is expected for life because it has atmosphere, rivers, lakes, seas and rain. Our technology is going towards more advance features. Hope there will be more new, important and interesting discoveries in Future.
